When life feels off, don’t start by trying to fix everything. Start by figuring out what actually needs your attention.

The Alignment Check-In is a guided 20–30 minute reset designed to help you take an honest look at seven areas of your life, identify the gap between what matters and what you’re experiencing, uncover what’s taking up space, and choose one intentional next step.

You just need to know what matters—and take it up a notch.

A woman with wavy hair sitting at a wooden table, looking thoughtfully out a large window with a view of trees and the sky. She has a beige sweater, a notebook, a pen, a coffee mug, a laptop, and some books on the table.

Maybe nothing is
completely wrong.
But something feels off.

You're getting things done. You're handling responsibilities. You're keeping life moving.

But underneath all of that, you know something isn't quite lining up.

Maybe you're overwhelmed by everything that needs attention.

Maybe one part of your life keeps taking up more mental space than you want it to.

Maybe you know something needs to change, but you can't tell what should come first.

Or maybe you've been so busy responding to what's urgent that you haven't stopped long enough to ask:

What actually matters to me right now?

That's where The Alignment Check-In begins.

Your lowest score isn't automatically your biggest problem.

Most life assessments ask you to rate different areas of your life, and then immediately focus your attention on whatever scored lowest. I don't believe that's always where you should start.

Something can have a low satisfaction score without being a priority in this season. Something can be incredibly important to you and going really well. And sometimes the biggest clue isn't the score itself.

It's the gap between how important something is to you and how satisfied you are with the way you're experiencing it.

That's why The Alignment Check-In asks you to evaluate each area in two ways:

SATISFACTION

How do I feel about where this is right now?

PRIORITY

How important is this to me right now?

Dissatisfaction alone shouldn't determine where your attention goes. Alignment should.

Open journal titled 'Areas of My Life' with checkboxes for career, relationships, physical and personal well-being, financial well-being, home, rest and enjoyment; black, gold, and white pen resting on the journal; mug with coffee, potted plant, stack of books, smartphone, and laptop on a light-colored table.

Seven areas. Two numbers.
A much clearer picture.

You'll check in with seven areas of your life:

Career / Business
Relationships
Physical Well-Being
Personal Well-Being
Financial Well-Being
Home
Rest + Enjoyment

But this isn't about getting everything to a 10.

It's about recognizing what matters in this season, and where your time, energy and attention actually belong.

Then you'll learn how to read
what your numbers are telling you.

Your scores aren't telling you what to fix. They're giving you information. The Alignment Check-In helps you interpret that information through four simple distinctions:

An infographic titled "The Big Idea" with four quadrants showing different strategies for managing priorities. The quadrants read: "Protect It" with a leaf icon, "Pay Attention" with an exclamation mark icon, "Question It" with a question mark icon, and "Let It Work" with a heart icon. Each includes a brief description about prioritization and satisfaction.

Sometimes the whole area isn't the problem.

Maybe you rated your career a 4. Or your relationships a 5. Or your personal well-being a 3. Those are big categories—and big categories tend to make us believe we need big solutions. The Alignment Check-In helps you look underneath the score.

  • Is there a decision you haven't made?

  • Something you're avoiding?

  • Something unfinished?

  • A responsibility you're carrying for someone else?

  • An obligation that no longer fits?

  • Something you're trying to control that isn't actually yours to control?

Maybe the whole area doesn't need to change.
Maybe something specific inside it does.

And once you can see that, you can decide what to do next.

A quote about progress and small steps, with a coffee mug labeled 'Small Steps Create Big Change' and a notebook with a pen on a marble surface.

In about 20–30 minutes, you'll walk through:

  • A guided check-in across seven areas of life

  • Your Satisfaction + Priority assessment

  • The Protect It / Pay Attention / Question It / Let It Work framework

  • A process for identifying your most important alignment gap

  • The What's Taking Up Space? exercise

  • The Take It Up a Notch method

  • One clear, intentional action you can actually take

The Alignment Check-In is for you if...

  • You have a lot going on and don't know what deserves your attention first.

  • You can tell something feels off, but you can't quite put your finger on why.

  • You're tired of treating every area that could improve like another project.

  • You've been responding to what's urgent instead of intentionally choosing what matters.

  • You want clarity without committing to another complicated system.

Or you simply haven't stopped in a while to ask:

How am I actually doing?

You don't need to be in crisis to check in with yourself. Sometimes the best time to realign is when you first notice you've started drifting.

A woman with curly hair wearing a black blazer and red earrings sitting at a desk with a notebook, pen, and a coffee mug that says "Clarity creates freedom." She is smiling and resting her chin on her hand in a cozy, well-decorated office with books, plants, and framed quotes on the wall.

I don't think you need another reason to feel behind.

I've spent years teaching people about priorities, purpose, perspective and alignment, and one thing I know is this:

Not everything that needs improvement needs your attention right now.

The goal isn't to create a life where everything scores a 10.

It's to know what matters to you, recognize when the way you're living isn't reflecting it, and make intentional choices about what comes next.

That's why I created The Alignment Check-In. Not to give you more to do. But to help you see more clearly.

Awareness → Alignment → Action

And now, back to you.
